The Construction Department of Hainan Province, the Provincial Department of Development and Reform, and the Provincial Department of Finance jointly drafted the "Opinions on Strengthening the Work of Saving Electricity in Urban Public Lighting and Promoting Green Lighting Projects" this year, and promoting energy saving and consumption reduction in public lighting. It is planned to select three or five projects for pilot projects in the pilot projects reported by the province. For selected projects, in addition to the one-off grant of 50% of the project cost from the balance of surcharges for urban public utilities (lighting) in the province, the lighting electricity fee approved by ordinary light source will not be deducted within 3 years. The pilot project management department maintains funding subsidies.
The person in charge of Hainan Yuneng Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. in the Jinmao Zhonglu test said that the 16-inch street lamp used in the test was a semiconductor lighting (LED). After preliminary testing, the 120-watt street lamp consumes only 6.1 degrees in 28 days, and the power saving rate is Up to 85%. According to reports, Haikou and Wenchang, Hainan Province, are the first cities in the world to test high-power LED street lights.
