National Electric Power Industry Production in January-July 2010

According to the National Development and Reform Commission, from January to July, the growth rate of industrial added value in the country was 17.0%. Among them, light industry increased by 13.6% and heavy industry grew by 18.4%.
First, the electricity market situation   
From January to July , the country's total social power consumption was 2,298.9 billion kwh, an increase of 20.25% year-on-year. In July, the country's entire society used 389.6 billion kwh of electricity, an increase of 13.94% year-on-year.
From January to July , the primary industry's electricity consumption was 56.6 billion kWh, an increase of 6.13% year-on-year; secondary industry electricity consumption was 1800.74 billion kWh, an increase of 22.69% year-on-year; tertiary industry electricity consumption was 249 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase. 15.39%; urban and rural residents' electricity consumption reached 283.8 billion kwh, an increase of 13.07% year-on-year.
From January to July , the national industrial electricity consumption was 1.7832 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 22.63%; light and heavy industry electricity consumption increased by 13.46% and 24.58% respectively year-on-year.
From the perspective of the growth of electricity consumption in each region, the provinces with the year-on-year growth in electricity consumption exceeding the national average (20.25%) are: Qinghai (56.85%), Ningxia (43.81%), Inner Mongolia (35.60%), Guangxi ( 31.28%), Henan (23.79%), Shanxi (23.67%), Xinjiang (22.50%), Chongqing (22.42%), Hunan (21.58%), Shaanxi (21.39%), Hebei (21.23%), Liaoning (20.95% ), Hainan (20.86%), Gansu (20.37%).

Second, power generation production
In the first seven months of the year, the power generation capacity of above-scale power plants across the country totaled 23,478 billion kWh (see Remarks), which represented an increase of 17.9% over the same period of last year. Among them, hydropower 341.6 billion kWh, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year; thermal power of 191.3 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 19.5% Nuclear power was 39.7 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%. The country's major power grids collectively generated 220.4 billion kilowatt-hours of power, and the maximum generating power totaled 569.65 million kilowatts, an increase of 22.15% (average) and 14.23% compared to the same period last year.
By the end of July, the capacity of power plants for power plants with 6000-kilowatt and above was 876.71 million kilowatts, an increase of 11.8% over the same period of the previous year. Among them, hydropower was 174.83 million kilowatts, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year; thermal power was 66.995 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%; nuclear power was 9.08 million kilowatts, and Last year was flat; wind power was 24.4 million kilowatts, an increase of 84.2% year-on-year.
Third, power supply and sales
From January to July , the national grid power supply was 2132.3 billion kwh, and the amount of electricity sold was 199.1 billion kWh, an increase of 20.74% and 20.69% respectively over the same period of last year. A total of 57.47 million kilowatts, an increase of 21.93% (average) and 14.63%, respectively, compared with the same period last year.

4. Trans-regional and inter-provincial power transmission and import and export of electricity across the country
From January to July , 79.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity was sent across the country; the provinces sent a total of 323.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, of which 61.3 billion kwh was delivered this month; and the total import and export volume was 14.2 billion kwh, of which 2.7 billion kwh was imported. The export of electricity is 11.5 billion kwh.
From January to July , North China sent 9.3 billion kilowatt-hours to East China; North China sent 5 billion kilowatt-hours to Central China via UHV; Northeast China sent 4.9 billion kilowatt-hours to North China; East China sent 700 million kilowatt-hours to Central China; and Huazhong sent East China to 20.2 billion kilowatt-hours; The government has a direct current of 7.2 billion kWh; Yihua directs 8.2 billion kWh; Central China sends a total of 14.6 billion kWh to the south; Northwest China sends 3.8 billion kWh to Central China Power Grid.
In the first seven months of the year, China Southern Power's West Power transmission sent to Guangdong 53.4 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 10.06%, and West Power sent 3.7 billion kWh to Guangxi, a year-on-year drop of 50.61%.
V. Completion of major technical and economic indicators
From January to July , the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in the country was 2,719 hours, an increase of 195 hours over the same period of last year. Among them, the average utilization hours of hydropower equipment was 1,850 hours, which was 78 hours lower than the same period of last year; the average utilization hours of thermal power equipment was 2,966 hours. Compared with the same period of last year, the growth rate was 303 hours. The provinces with average utilization hours of thermal power equipment above the national average were Ningxia, Guangxi, Guizhou, Qinghai, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Hebei, Xinjiang, Henan, Beijing, Shandong, Shanxi, Liaoning, and Guangdong.
From January to July , the national coal consumption rate for power supply was 334 g/kWh, which was a drop of 7 g/kWh from the same period of last year. The cumulative power consumption rate of power plants in the country was 5.72%, of which hydropower was 0.42% and thermal power was 6.55%. The line loss rate was 6.43. %, an increase of 0.03% over the same period of last year.

VI. Power Construction
In the first seven months of the year, the nation’s power infrastructure investment totaled 166.8 billion yuan, including 34.9 billion yuan in hydropower, 63.2 billion yuan in thermal power, 29.9 billion yuan in nuclear power, 38 billion yuan in wind power, and 40.44 million kilowatts of newly added power in the country (formally put into operation). Of this total, 7.38 million kilowatts of hydropower, 28,800,000 kilowatts of thermal power, and 4.09 million kilowatts of wind power. The basic construction of the power grid has completed a total investment of 145 billion yuan, and the newly added power grid has a capacity of 220 kilovolts and more of 120.31 million kVA, with a length of 18,849 kilometers (including , the exchange of new 15052 km, DC 3,797 km).
Remarks : 1. The data of power generation (without wind power generation) adopts statistical data of power plants above the scale of the National Bureau of Statistics, which is inconsistent with the statistics of power consumption of the whole society; 2. Capacity of power generation equipment, economic indicators of production, and statistics of wind power generation are 6000 kilowatts and above power plant.
