In the speech, Wang Dianzhen introduced that the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" will become a high-speed development of the LED industry for five years. According to the preliminary plan, by 2015, China's LED industry will reach 500 billion yuan, with a compound annual growth rate of 42%.
According to relevant industry sources in Guangdong, the Guangdong Provincial Government listed LED as one of the three strategic emerging industries, supporting 500 million yuan per year to support industrial development. The average industry growth rate in 2011 is expected to be as high as 80%, and the sales scale will exceed 80 billion yuan.
