Baoxin government cuts power prices

On July 19th, the National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission announced that it plans to reduce the guaranteed average price by 5% from August 1, 2013. The price cuts of the Baosan Electric Power Co., Ltd. are slightly different: the power price of the power supply company CEZ in the northwest is reduced by 4.4%, that of the power company EVN in the southeast is reduced by 4.1%, and that of the power supplier Energo Pro in the northeast is reduced by 4.5%.

At the beginning of this year, due to the excessively high fees for public utilities such as electricity prices, many large-scale protests in dozens of cities across the country broke out. This eventually led to the change of the government, and prompted the government to further reduce the price of electricity.
