To ensure flight safety and improve flight efficiency, calibration of the drone is one of the necessary preparations before take-off. Therefore, Xiaobian today introduces you to the steps required for the calibration of the plant protection drone before take-off.
ESC calibration
Note: Be sure to remove the paddle before making the ESC calibration! !
1) Push the throttle stick to the highest position, the LED light indicates the current GPS status and flight status
2) CH5 (mode channel) quickly switches back and forth 6~10 times at the lowest and highest positions, the LED light turns red and steady
3) Keep the throttle position unchanged, disconnect the main power supply, and then re-energize, the LED lights flash red, green and blue.
4) After powering for about 0.5 seconds, you will hear the motor “beep†twice; then pull the throttle stick to the lowest position within 2 seconds, the LED light flashes red and blue alternately, then enter the normal indication; after the correct calibration is completed and unlocked, The electric machine runs at an idle speed.
Horizontal calibration
1) Before the first test flight, put the aircraft on the level ground and perform the outer eight-character lock operation for more than 10 seconds.
2) The LIU blue light turns on alternately, and you can release the remote control lever.
3) After about 10 seconds, the LIU turns to the blue indicator light. After about 15 seconds, the LIU flashes normally, indicating that the calibration is successful.
Compass calibration
1) Push the throttle stick to the lowest position
2) Switch the CH5 switch back and forth about 6~10 times at the lowest position and the highest position until the status indicator light is on.
3) Move the nose of the aircraft forward, horizontally, and then slowly rotate clockwise at least one turn until the status indicator lights up green.
4) Place the aircraft head down, the body is vertical, and then slowly rotate clockwise at least one turn until the status indicator white light is on.
